this is what happens during lunch almost everyday, just that the subject varies. sis:"mummy, where does man2 tou come from? is it grow from trees?"me: totally bursts out laughing. "yea"mum: "glenda, don't teach her the wrong thing. man2 tou is made of flour, like bread. then it is fried. and it doesn't grow on trees like apples do."sis: "then grow from where? is it grow in the sea?"mum: "noooo. it's from a plant called wheat. wheat grows on the soil which is the ground. so it's from the ground. then they use flour make into bread, then they fry it."me: "yea so basically, it's fried bread."sis: "huh?? aiya later i also want to go home and fry my kaya bread."hahahaha. i know. i think she's got the misconception that it's from the sea cos we were eating near the sea. and, we're eating crabs, prawns...seafood. so yeah. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry, really. HAhaha. we get this kind of funny questions all day long. and it's really entertaining sometimes. but once in a while, i'll just ignore those stupid questions. like 'why your hair is black ah' ok don't even wanna talk bout it anymore. hahaha.CNY is funnnn!! meeting people you haven't seen in a year is quite nice. it's like an annual meeting. then we go like, "hey last year you were taller than me, but now it's the opposite!!" wheee. hahahaha. directed at someoone who doesn't know my blog, but whatever. the first 2 days were quite slow and draggy cos we only visited 2 houses per day. chu yi(thur): we went to my grandmother's house and godmother's house. as i said, slow and dragggyyy. cos we spent like 5h doing god-knows-what at my grandma's house and it wasn't very pleasant so yeah. i wasn't high on chu yi yet so that's why. maybe it's the traffic condition....chu er(fri): went to....forgot where did i go. oh yeah! went to the Istana. whoa. if i start talking about it, i don't need to eat dinner already. and besides, i've already described the whole process to someone else. so hahaha. ok brief summary: it was a hot and long process. finally came out around but then after that we went to another house. was really tired so decided to become a loner and read my book. hahaha. then after that.....we went to another house. whoa. ok didn't realize we were that busy.this visit was nicer cos we live quite near them and we're really close to their family so i went home and got my tablet. thenn..basically just used my tablet la. hahaha. doing funny stuff. until bout 12am then went home. cos my father was really glued to his seat playing blackjack.
chu san (sat): wanted to visit laoshi today but last minute, my father wanted to bring us to malaysia to bai nian. i know..far. but my father just happens to have a really wide network of friends that he's got to do this. i seem to talk bout my father alot. cos i love him!!! hahaha. got to skip tuition that day. then went shopping and wanted to buy lots of clothes. to stock up for the whole year just in case i don't get to go shopping anymore you know. hahaha. saw some nice clothes from edc esprit. and the thing is, it's cheaper!! ahhh. but ended up doing some sandart with my sisters. gosh. the sacrifices you make when u have little sisters. haiz...just saddening. so went out of malaysia with a tube of cadbury dairy milk chocolate. the reward for putting up with screaming children pouring sand at each other, instead of the piece of cartoon-ish looking thing in front of them. and, helping my sis to actually fill half the picture when she finally decided it's not very fun after all. [glad she realized!!!] turns out to be pretty. DUH. i did half of it:DDD ah wells. at least i got chocolate<333>
chu si (today): went to some weird place at west coast and pratically sulked the whole time cos i was gonna be late to visit lao shi. hahah. so i just stoned there to show my dissatisfaction. finally, my parents gave up on me and sent me there. hahah. no la. i'm not that evil k. i was still patiently waiting for them. so got to lao shi's house and bai nian. hahaha. so happy!:DD saw dancers!! hahaha. i thought i was at the wrong house at first. i'm so proud that i found the right one so easily:))) so played pick-up sticks and uno with them. the mini humans were so adorable!! their names were special, so i shan't attempt to spell it. hahaha. but i think i just make a foreboding impression on little kids, cos they don't seem to have a liking for me:( ahhhh guess i scared them with my too pretty face:) ok egoism alert. luckily, i'm back home now. my mum has decided mahjong is more than gambling and will help prevent you from being senile so she has picked it up. now, she's at aunty amy's house enjoying herself, i hope. hahaha. the one whose house was so near home that i went to get my tablet. going there for dinner later:DDthere's half day tomorrow!! wheee:DD so happy!! actually, they should just make it a no school day. however, as i said, i'm easily contented so WOOHOOO!! going out with my ahma, can't wait!! i know she's even more eager hahaha.
